Emily Kathrine Savage,
91, of Farmington (Gibbon Glade Community), PA, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at Lafayette Manor, Inc., Uniontown, PA.
The daughter of the late Thomas and Wanda McKinney McElroy, she was born April 29, 1925, in Gibbon Glade, PA.
Emily was a member of the Canaan Church of the Brethren and the Ladies Aid Group. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
She is survived by three sons and spouses: Donald Savage and Janice of Metamora, MI, Warren Savage and Teresa of Farmington, PA, and Mike Savage and Deb of Farmington; three daughters: Ruth Dixon and companion, Jim, of Midland, MI, Kathy Coleman and husband, Bob, of Marysville, MI, and Tamara Thomas of Boynton Beach, FL; a son-in-law, Bob Fraley, of Troy, MI; twenty-five grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Savage; two daughters, Olive and Alice; a granddaughter, Julia Rose; and four brothers and sisters: Stanley McElroy, Pauline Rankin, Donald McElroy and Irene Harbarger.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the Canaan Church of the Brethren in Gibbon Glade, PA, with Pastor Greg Moran officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Memorial Park Cemetery, Farmington, PA.
