Obituary of Michael Lawrence Davis

Michael Lawrence Davis, 75, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Richard N. Davis and Elizabeth Ann Fairchild Davis, he was born August 24, 1945 in Arlington, VA. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he had retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation as a state road inspector. He is survived by a son and his wife, Matthew and Nikki Davis, of Bruceton Mills; three sisters: Patricia Dannov of San Jacinto, CA, Suzy Trefsgar of Amherst, VA, and Elizabeth Davis and her spouse, Kevin McDonnell of Key West, FL; and three grandchildren: Mairyn, Isabelle and Alan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Howell Davis, December 25, 2020. A private service and burial will be held at the Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Bruceton United Methodist Church, 147 Union Street, Bruceton Mills, WV. 26525 Carl R.
