I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. I had planned on driving down to Kingwood and staying with my sister tonight and attending the services tomorrow. But having just come back from a week of camping, along with other issues and a flareup with my rheumatoid arthritis I have decided not to try to drive down tonight. I would have to drive back tomorrow afternoon also and I feel that would just be too much on my old body right now. I am hoping that I can come down sometime next week after 1st of August and spend a couple days with my sister and visit you girls and especially your mother. Sandy, Linda and Marla I am real sorry I won't be able to be there but my heart and my thoughts will be with you all and your family. I wish I still had the body and the energy I had 20 years ago, because then I wouldn't have to rethink the stress I put on my body and make choices for health reasons. Anyway I know it will be hard tomorrow and the weeks that follow, but keep those wonderful memories that you have of your father. I think he was a blessing sent from heaven to the community. He and your mother raised an awesome wonderful kind loving family. Hope to see you next week. I will let you know before I come. God's blessings be with you and through these days ahead. Remember I send my love and prayers.
