Obituary of Freda Alice Clark

Freda A. Clark, 83, of Albright (Valley Point), WV, died Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. The daughter of the late Parley and Vergie Ringer Conner, she was born July 28, 1936, in Valley Point. Freda was a member of the Valley Point Apostolic Church where she served many years as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary. A very good homemaker, she loved her family, and her grandchildren were special to her. She is survived by a daughter, Renee Clark Kelly; four sons and their spouses: Greg and Naola Clark, Jay and Cindy Clark, Toby and Kim Clark, and Kirby and Jenny Clark of Bruceton Mills; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a sister and her spouse, Elsie and Maurice Miller, of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Playford "Bill" Clark, February 20, 2012, and her son-in-law, Roger Kelly. Family and friends may call at the Valley Point Apostolic Church in Valley Point on Friday, from 2-8 p.m., and Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 10 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service in the church with Pastors Jay Kelly, Greg Moran and Claud and Sandy Sisler officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Valley Point. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Valley Point Apostolic Church, c/o Joann Conner, 27 N.
