Obituary of Johnny Croskey, Jr.
John Joseph Croskey, Jr.,
20, of Albright (Hudson Community), WV, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at his home.
The son of John Joseph Croskey, Sr. and Heidi Elizabeth Savage Croskey, he was born November 7, 1998, in Chester, PA.
Johnny was a 2017 graduate of Preston High School where he accelerated in athletics and earned state honors in soccer and lacrosse. His passion for music included playing guitar and bass, singing, and writing music, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends in WV. After spending a year in Florida where he learned Smart Home Technology, he came home to learn the family business.
Johnny was a passionate young man who had a contagious smile and outgoing personality and liked to make people laugh. He touched and impacted many lives and will be truly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Johnny is survived by his sisters: Stacey M., Joanna L., Andrea K., and Mary E. Croskey; brother-in-law, Steve Suarez; and nieces, Sayge M. McKay and Selena Suarez.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration, Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 5-8 p.m., with Pastor Mike Robinson officiating.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Johnny Croskey Memorial Fund for Drug Awareness.
