Obituary of Hope White
Hope White,
87, of Bruceton Mills (Pisgah community), WV, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Pine Ridge, in Kingwood, WV.
The daughter of the late Aberham and Hester Ann Perkins Dillo, she was born December 10, 1930, in Dehue (Logan County), WV.
Hope enjoyed cooking for her family, as well as gardening and fishing.
She is survived by five daughters and their spouses: Jeannie Christine (Michael) Grubb of Greensboro, NC, Sherril Ruth (Donald) Smith of Bruceton Mills, Deborah Kay (Avalon) Hawkins of Friendsville, TN, LaDonna S. (John David) Clawges of Westover, WV and Frances W. (Paul) Zepp of Morgantown, WV; two sons, Duane White of Bruceton Mills and John R. Jr. (Teresa) White of Albright, WV; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a special friend, Jeannie Gribble.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John R. White, in 1992, and fourteen older siblings.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff and employees of Pine Ridge Nursing for the excellent care given to their mother.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Branvonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 12 noon until the 2:00 p.m. service provided by family members. Burial will follow in the Sugar Valley Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, WV.
