Izetta Burhl Ringer,
86, of Albright (Woolen Mills Community), WV, died Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Hopemont State Hospital, Terra Alta, WV.
The daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Lala Oresta Duckworth Stanton, she was born November 24, 1929, in Kingwood, WV.
Burhl was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Kingwood High School.
She is survived by two daughters and their spouses: Sylvia and Rev. William Brown of Parsons, WV, and Julie and Michael Hofer of Fort Walton Beach, FL; five grandchildren: Gregory Brown and his fiancée, Saprena, of Frederick, MD, April Meadows and her husband, Daniel, of Franklin, WV, Scott Brown and his wife, Felicia, of Hedgesville, WV, Jeremy Hofer and his wife, Erin, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Amanda Schumann and her husband, Randy, of Fort Walton Beach; six great-grandchildren: Keagen Thomson, Joshua Brown, Jacob Brown, Isaiah Meadows, Sara Schumann and Ryan Shumann.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood A. Ringer, in 1984, and four brothers: Parley, William, Paul and Jimmy Stanton.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the Centenary United Methodist Church, Centenary, WV, with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery.
