Obituary of Willard Louise McNear

Willard Louise McNear,

     89, of Albright (Valley Point Community), WV, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown, WV.
     The daughter of the late Cecil Roy and Elsie Flo Messenger Durr, she was born September 13, 1928, in Preston, WV.
     Willard attended Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church.  She was known for her potato salad, raisin filled cookies, crocheting and dolls.
     She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Janet and Roger Livengood of Bruceton Mills and a son and his wife, Sonny and Judy McNear of Tunnelton, WV; a brother, and his wife John and Gerry Durr and a sister Betty Lovely of Albright; six grandchildren: Sharon Bankhead, Tonya Barone, RJ Livengood, Beth Williams, Chris Bolyard and Missy Herr; ten great-grandchildren.
     In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glennis H. McNear; eight brothers and sisters: Herman, Boots, Jimmy, Jake, Mary Kathrine and Junior Durr, and Ethel Hileman and Mary Etta Pratt.
     Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 10 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral chapel, with Pastor Sonny McNear and Rev. Winfield Mayle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Albright (Valley Point), WV.
